As of January 1, 2001, all other municipalities still respond to alarms like they have in the past. It is important to not however that many jurisdictions require an alarm permit be filed with the police department if you have a monitored alarm system. If the permit is not filed, the police may not respond. Please refer to the table included below, providing an overview of municipalities permit requirements, and false alarm fines.
